How long did you have to wait for your factory 2022 order/request/whatever it is called?

I just got a call from the dealer that my truck is ready for pick up today. WooHoo! The problem is, I have to be elsewhere today. Yesterday would have been great for me and the truck had been there for 3 days. The salesgirl didn't return my calls or emails yesterday. maybe her day off? I'm waiting for her reply about picking it up tomorrow. It's been an hour and no reply yet.

Haven’t had my truck all this week it was in the shop getting ppf and window tint. A week was nothing after waiting 8 months to get it haha

I just got the third notice of the truck being moved along with the door open notification. The first was when they moved it off the ship in Benicia last Sunday. The second when they loaded it onto a railcar in Benicia on Tuesday. I know that it only takes the Sunset Unlimited two days to go from Los Angeles to Houston, but I find it hard to believe it only takes three for a railcar to get from Northern Cali to Houston. @Oskie_78 any activity on your truck? The plot thickens...
I'm holding off asking for an update, but I admit to being really curious at this time.

 

It took ten days, via rail, for my truck to arrive at the Houston VPC from San Diego.

Train cars are not usually on a “nonstop” run from the West Coast to Houston. Due to Texas laws, extended length trains (many train cars) are broken into shorter trains before they enter Texas (e.g. train cars sit at a railroad yard waiting to be scheduled into shorter trains before entering the state).

Stopped to look at a Rav4 to see if the wife liked it. 2023 Lunar Rock Tacoma TRD 4X4 Sport V6 was just sitting there. So had to look! Guy had just canceled that morning. Took till 9 at friggin night. In the end it became ours.
Had put money down on the Rav but canceled right before it came in. There not that great really.
