How long did you have to wait for your factory 2022 order/request/whatever it is called?

No dealer near me has a Toyota Tacoma in stock. Everything is still by deposit on allocations just like it was over a year ago when I bought my 2022 TRD off road. I waited 3 months for that one. Now the one I am buying now the build date is June 12 so another month after that it should be delivered. There are things that can delay. Wish it was like the old days where you could walk in and test drive different models and drive home that day with a new car.

 

Yes! I hear you. Allocation to the dealer and deposit. That is what I heard and had to deal with. Truck was supposed to be at the dealer May 25 but is now late, and may be late by as much as a month.

I received a notification couple hours ago about the doors unlocking on the Toyota app. Also, just now my dealer texted me and told me that the truck arrived at the port in Houston.

so if anybody’s in the gulf region and waiting for a truck. They might be there soon.

Put deposit down last November, holding out for manual transmission, dealer said today it may not be worth waiting because manuals are ‘on hold’ (with no further details) and very possible they bump me to a ‘24 if I ever get one.
