How long did you have to wait for your factory 2022 order/request/whatever it is called?

Thanks. It told me what the dealer told me though, nothing. Truck was built 5/19. I figured it would move in 3 weeks.

 

Also try putting the Toyota app in your phone and load your VIN. When they start getting ready to load to ship to a Logistics Park they’ll open doors and it will tell you. That way you know it’s about to ship (if rail). Once it gets to final shipping destination you’ll see doors open, tires inflate and maybe gas in the tank. Then you know it’s on truck to dealer or at dealer. As they drive around lots you’ll see mileage register too.

 

What app is this exactly? I have the Toyota app and they want me to subscribe to a bunch of subscriptions, I never used it with my 20 SR , but my 2023 should be at the dealer today or tomorrow

 

Apple App Store. Just search Toyota and you’ll see Toyota - Connect to your Toyota. Load that. The subscriptions are all the tech crap you get if you have tech packages. You get so much free to start. They’ll load that when you pick up. Don’t worry about it. Once you load there’s notification settings in. Hit the little person top right and you’ll see Notifications and then settings. It will also put an odometer reading and gas gauge up when they start processing it. And if you hit vehicle status it has tire pressure that will show up when they air your tires.

 

When you get home turn the door notifications off. It’ll drive you nuts. It will tell you if you leave windows or doors open which is nice. And you can lock and unlock or start it from anywhere else you have WiFi. Still discovering what else.

And they say Toyota has no tech. Too much shit for me!

 

I downloaded the app and I get an error message “invalid VIN or mobile number” I won’t use 99% of the shit that’s on it…no wonder there is a chip shortage

I hear ya. Not sure I even like the apple car play gis map directions in this thing. The one on my phone is better. Sitting here on porch messing with it. Idk I loaded the app a while ago. Loaded app then opened and hit register. I forget how it went. I know you need Bluetooth on when using it.

Picked up my truck today!

 

I just got word from the dealer (second-checked with Toyota Tracker) that my truck should arrive 6/9 - 6/16!

 

I downloaded the toyota app. Shows no info yet, not even tire pressure. What's disappointing is you can't find the location of the truck. On my mazda app I can see where the car is on a map if I wanted to. Unless I'm missing how to find that feature?

 

The location function, services, and all that stuff does not work until you pick up the truck and sit down and sync it. Ince they start moving the truck in the shipping process they’ll stay opening doors and I assume turning it in for the first time. Then you get the door open notifications. Based on mine they didn’t put air in until it got off the train at local logistics park. They’ll also move it around the lot and you’ll see a mile or two show up. When it goes on truck for delivery or maybe when delivered to dealer, it gets gassed up and you’ll see that. So until you sign papers it only shows a few things but enough you can figure out what’s happening. It’s actually nice you can track a truck you don’t own. As long as no one else can after you buy it. Lol

 

They might also just have to turn all the tech on in the truck when it goes through QC and that starts the data showing up in the app.
