Has anyone had their truck get stuck on hold at Annapolis Junction in Maryland? If so, how long did it take to make its final trip to your dealer? I'm pushing 40 days on hold now...

 

Mine has been stuck at Veracruz Mexico for a month and a half now. Not sure what the hold up is.

BTW, for those curious, it took me over 4 months to receive my truck from when the "order" was placed and receiving my truck. I paid MSRP.

 

Long time forum lurker. I put a deposit down on my 2023 6MT TRD OR in early August and it's been sitting at Veracruz port for over a month as well.

A little birdie told me that Mexican gov't has stopped all outgoing Tacoma shipments. He claims the cartels are "spicing" the Taco's so they are all being held until they can be searched.

I certainly take this with a healthy grain of salt. However, if you look at DragonPro23's post up until he left basically everything going that route through Veracruz seems to be stuck which gives it a little more validity.

Mine has been stuck in Veracruz for over 7 weeks now as well.

 

Toyota tracker now has a delivery date for mine of October 23rd to Nov 7th. So looks like mine made it on a boat.

 

Update on mine: There was no eta in sight after 2 months from the original eta, so I got my deposit back and went to another dealer which had the same exact truck on the lot. Somehow squeezed more out of my trade in too

 

My LIMITED pushed back to 30 Oct now arriving VPC tomorrow. Only getting one add (power locking tailgate) so should go thru swiftly and get here next week with any luck

 

@DragonPro23 can you look up two of them for me. I think I am getting the run around on this. 3TYSZ5AN1PT161247 and 3TYSZ5AN2PT173214. I appreciate the info!
