I think i got yall beat! My truck is an 05 and i bought it a couple months ago. 217k miles. i debadged and there is zero fading. used a little wax to clean the gunk that built up around the adhesive and there is no evidence they were there.

    Rip them puppies off!

Four days later.... I had to drive the 1200 miles back home first. That's what I get for buying a new truck on vacation.

I went to the sporting goods store and got the fishing line this AM...

Thinking just the tailgate for now, completely. Leaving the TRD and side "Tacoma"'s

Bought my White 07 3 weeks ago and took the badging off as soon I drove it home.

7 years in the Arizona sun and now ghosting or paint fade - left it parked in the sun for about an hour and used needle nose pliers to pull them right off. It was 118F on that Saturday . . .

Purchased my 08 Indigo Ink 3 months ago and debadged it about 2 weeks ago. TRD OR sticker outlines are barely visible on the bed. Now the badges from the tailgate and the door on the other hand are pretty bad. Def going to require some rubbing compound and possibly a little wet sanding. Feels like the badges had actually sunk into the clear coat a little bit.

My truck is an 09. I de-badged it this year with no problems in color difference. I buffed the paint after removing the adhesive.

So far I've added an Advance folding bed cover and since removed it. Gave it to my son in Maine, he has an 05 2wd. GT perfect fit seat covers. Weathertech floor mats and window vent visors. Waag center brush/grill guard. Hose clamp tailgate mod. Turned off the seat belt chime. Added Ultra-Gauge. Trailer hitch. Softopper. Replaced sun visors with slide out style. Toyota bed extender. Had Firestone Destinations and now Michelin LTX AT2 in stock size. More mods to come; Fog lights, locking storage in bed, intermittent wipers. Now looking for Radio/HU upgrade. and maybe a lift way down the road.
What color paint ? Anyone have b red who waited a few years to debadge ?
