How long did your "free" Sirius/XM last when you bought your truck?

I was told it would be free for 6 months, but I'm at 8 months and it's still going.

 

Going on 1.5 years here. My buddy has gone 2 yrs+ a few months on his truck. I hope I am not jinxing myself by posting this on here.

 

was told 90 days...that was aug 5th...

 

I did not get that option in my 05', damn!

90 days and they won't stop calling ... Told those a aholes I don't use it or need it

 

Mine only lasted 90 days and it sounded like crap anyways. Mine sounded liked I was listening to a radio from the 70's on mono.

 

I already had a subscription with them myself. Toyota's receiver is junk IMO. Would cut out and just stop working half the time. Much better now that I swapped out the stock HU and added XM Direct.

 

90 days and then they sent me a renewal notice in the mail... I suppose if I'd ignored it, I would be getting it for free now. Damn!

 

Lasted about 20 months, Bragging to the wife, she had to drive the truck for a couple of days when I got it back it was gone, coincidence?

 

I was told 90 days, just turned off today at 95 days.

 

My wife's camry was 90 days. Went on for over a year. Then they called to renew. We said we didn't want it and to turn it off. They left it on. Then we got a bill. Called to straighten it out, again to turn it off. The whole time it os still on. Two weeks ago it went off. This week we get a letter that we have been turned over to a collector. Called XM again. They say, yes we see that you called to have the service stopped, don't know why it was still on. Got transferred a couple times to get the charge dropped. This is the best: one of the transfers put my wife on the line with another customer having the same issue!!!!. They were talking back and forth comparing notes. I thought that was hilarious.

I know I sound like my grandfather, but companies just aren't what they used to be. I have been in a month long battle with my cable company.

Mine lasted 90 days and turned off. All I got in a mail was a few offers to get the service back, I ignored those. I believe radio should be free.

I think mine lasted about 90 days then I got a renewal letter. Already had an account with them on another radio so I just did the lifetime subscription on the Tacoma. I listen to it everyday.

 

It is free, if you don't mind twenty minutes of commercials every hour, and the same twelve songs over and over.
