I'm gonna change it this week. I've never had a battery last more than 5 years before. ~7 years of heavy use seems to be pushing it, considering I can avoid a problem that might leave me stranded entirely with a single benjamin.

I had a cat that lived to be 23, but I'm gonna cut this race short.

My 06 with the original battery still has a green eye but I can feel it being kind of weak when cranking. Instead waiting for it to die and leave me stranded, I just replaced it.

AC Delco Professional Gold 27RPG for $75. I hast 710CCA like the original battery.

Swapped the battery on my '11 after 2 years 145,000 miles. Wasn't shot but very close.

My factory battery in my 2010 crapped out on me. Picked up an EverStart Maxx from Walmart for about $105ish to get me going down the road but still researching to see if this is my best option for the money. It seems as though the quality of this battery is pretty decent from what I'm reading online. Seems like it's about the best option for the $100 price point with better performers commanding a much higher price tag (double) from what I've found.

Where were you able to find this battery for $75? My buddy is a service writer for GM locally & his cost is about a hundred bucks. Curious where I can find this for what appears to be about 25% off of cost. Thanks!

Mine died about 6 months ago, so about 6 1/2 years. There was no warning either, like a weak start. It started fine in the morning. I stopped at a gas station and went to start it and it just clicked.
