5 years on OEM here. Just replaced in May with True Start also. Found that had the best price & warranty.

My 2000 had the original battery when I traded for my 2008, and the 08 still had its original when I traded it in for the 2015 last August.

Mine died in a little over 2 years. Replaced it and that one died in a little over 2 years too. Guess driving 2 miles to work does a number on batteries.

7.5 years from truck's sticker build date - BUT was the larger 27F tow package battery.

Mine just gave up the ghost last week, just over 6 years. Started up fine that morning and afternoon, stopped to do a hike on the way home and nothing, graveyard dead. AAA came out checked it out and the battery was done. Replaced it with an Interstate 27F, matched the OEM dimensions, $140 out the door.

Mine is still going since Oct 2009 (when it was leased to the previous).

My wife's Rav4 battery lasted 10 yrs and a couple of months.

Both are especially nice since I live in MA

Two biggest battery killers : heat and short trip driving.

Bought my 09 in October 2008. Replaced battery this past winter. Was still strong and when load tested it passed. Im sure it could have gone longer but didnt want to risk it and get stranded somewhere. Like others said heat kills batteries.

Replaced mine earlier this year in my 2011 that I bought in Jan 2012 so about 4 years of use. Heat kills them down here.

Cold weather does them in here. That said, 10 yrs on my wife's Rav4 (Panasonic battery) and a little shy of 7 for mine (forget the name) I'm happy

OE battery lasted 8 years & 8 months. '08 2.7L reg. cab 4x4. 105,000 miles. Replaced with Auto Craft Silver (Johnson Controls) 600 Amp. OE battery was Johnson Controls. My old '96 V6 Camry's OE Japan battery lasted 9 yrs., 11 mos., replaced with Silver series Auto Craft, which lasted 9+ years, replaced with another Silver series. With the kind of service I receive from the JC Auto Craft batteries, I'm neither changing battery brand nor series.
