2016 (bought Nov '15). I have 40k+ miles on the original battery. My opinion is that batteries are consumable items. They wear out. Climate, driving conditions, and a million other factors play a role. A few years out of a normal OEM battery sounds pretty good to me.

Yes and so are brake pads but they should last a good amount of time. Batteries should give you 4 to 6 years IMO based off all my past vehicles if CO weather.

I've had better luck with Walmart batteries than I've had with part stores. I then found out that.the.guys making there batteries are pretty good. Cant remember the manufacturer name.

I'm in the same boat, 2019 will be 3 1/5 years from production, I've had it just under two. Battery is great and doesn't blink an eye to -40C. Not to mention the truck warms up like lightning speed at that temp haha

I paid $ 103 last night at the local WalMart for a 24F Maxx battery with a five year warranty. I sorted through the stack and got one with a manufacture date sticker of 1/2019. The auto tech confirmed that his testing showed the battery was having problems holding a charge, and if this is occurring in a daily driver car, the battery is on the way out.
