How long do the OEM tires last TRD Off-road?

this has probably been covered and I appologize.

How many miles are you guys getting on them?

 

I got 26K on the OEM tires on my 2016 DCSB.

about 25,000 miles. Rotated every 5k.

 

5k and chunks torn out everywhere after 1 off road trip.

 

Really you guys are only getting 25-26k on a set of tires? Thats horrible. I have 36k on my BFG Rugged Terrain and and still have at least 20k left on them.

 

I got 40k out of mine before I threw them away.

 

Most OEM tires are not very good. Our "all season" continentals that came on the van are down to 3/32 after barely over 20k miles on them.

 

I bought my truck used with Goodyear Adventure with Kevlar (same tires that are on 3rd gen TRD Off Road) and have put almost 20k on them. Not sure how many miles were on them before I got it, but I still have plenty of tread left. I’m estimating another 15-20k before they will need to be replaced.

 

I took mine off at exactly 30008 miles and they had 6/32nd tread left, good for at least another 10-15k miles...they have a home on a Land Rover now and still going.

 

About 6k miles and I was too paranoid about getting a flat offroad so I swapped them for Falkens.

 

I got the Dunflops AT20 oem tires and these things wont wear out must be over 40k miles

 

I had 30K on mine mostly on road driving and they were in fine shape.

 

i ditched mine at 48K they had 4/32 i could have probably made them work till 55k

 

I almost have 24k on mine. I've taken them off road a few times. I have a gash in the side from a rock but the Kevlar sidewalls seem to be holding up. I am looking at Grabbers right now though.

 

I'm at around 21,000 mi and am on pace for 40-50,000 mi. Lot of commuting/highway miles with minimal off road (3-4 day trips).

 

Replaced mine at 29K, (19 months) down to 2/32ths.

Disappointing.

 

Keep in mind that 'high miles' isn't an indicator of a good tire, it's an indicator of a hard compound.

Sometimes that's good, sometimes that's sketchy. Depends on the use of the tire.

Fair enough. Thank everyone for responses. I ask because I have 22,222 Miles and counting on mine and I can tell they have some wear but I expect them to last a lot longer than I had secretly hoped. The cartard in me wants to buy me some 33’s but the cheapass in me can’t justify right now replacing tires when I have perfectly fine ones.
