I've had mine just over 2 years and Just handed it over to my Mrs to drive and as far as I'm concerned she can drive it into the ground! So, I plan on keeping it 10years+ and keeping up the maintenance. Toyota will take care of it for 7yrs/160,000kms Bumper to Bumper on the warranty side of it cause I bought that extra so I'm hoping it wont' give me too much grief after that. Time will tell!

What about the rest of you?

Do you guys plan on keeping it 2 years, 5yrs, 10yrs or more?

Anyone seeing any major issues after the 5 yr period?

When I went to the dealer, the sales man couldn't understand why a college kid would want a double cab. It's simple; I am planning on keeping this truck for a long time, hope to have my kids sitting in the back, maybe pass it off.

I've had it 2 mos, and if Toyota fixes my drive shaft shake, then forever, otherwise less than 6mos (assuming lemon law process takes less than 3 mos).

I was planning on keeping mine for 10+ years.
But after driving my old car today (bro has it now). I think I might go get something similar.

I'm putting a little less than 1k miles a month. I plan on keeping it a very long time. I am tired of these car notes.

I'd like to drive it to at least 200k miles. I'm currently putting ~500 miles per month... so that is a long time :D

    .
They will have to pry my fucking corpse out of my truck....seriously
The way that truck came to be in my life, I absolutely cannot get rid of it ever. I will buy other vehicles I am sure, but she stays, they gonna have to bury me in it.

Let me see, I put 50k per year on my trucks so around 180-200k it will be time to trade it in. Otherwise parts & repairs become major expenses...About four years..
