how long does it take for new car to break in?

    i've been driving my 09 truck for about 400 miles now. the clutch seems a little stiff and not everything is smooth yet. i was wondering how long it would take until everything breaks in. thank you!

    IMO the first 50 miles.
    I've own 2 race bikes (brand new) and broke them in this way. Broke my truck in the same way.

    The engine is already broken in. The transmission is a truck transmission-not sports car...So it probably will feel a bit clunky and heavy...
    What is all is included in "everything" that's not "smooth"??
