1-2 hours usually. A couple times a year I like to lightly polish, seal, and wax the paint..which takes all day.

To me my truck looks good clean or dirty.
On the washing part I take it through a car wash and let the machines wash my truck.
$5 to $10 bucks and 5 mins later I'm done.

Still remember it like it was yesterday when she was in my arm like a football in a burrito wrap. But really it takes 2-3 hour because she'll wet the truck again while I'm drying. Biggest pet peeve is water spots on windows.

I hand wash all summer. I use the touchless (high pressure) to get salt off during winter months.

nah, gotta have a few beers and stare at it. I like to put out the lawn chair.

my neighboor who has a 2007 Tundra comes over and admires the finished product with a beer also.

takes me about 4 hrs for this.

    In Order:

    -wash & scrub bed

-claybar entire truck. ( Roof & hood take me the longest)

-Wax by hand (I have an orbital and a sander but choose not to use it)

-detail rims (I take them off the rims and wash the inside every 2 washes)

-polish exhaust stainless steel tip/westin step bars

-Interior (vaccuum/ scrub) (The carpet by my shifter drives me nuts because i can't get to it with my vaccuum tip, the one next to the center console thinking about just removing my seats to get to it lol.)

-Meguiars quick detail wipe the whole inside.

take off my wet okoles and give them a soap soak.
Winshield detail (water spot remove for out, I use this professional acid product friend gave me works like magic)

my neighbors think im crazy for detailing my truck at night with just a maglite led or early morning day.

Detailing my truck is like me going surfing. I'm in my own world ^_^

then I stop and stare and smell the roses with a heineken & a shot of Makers Mark to make the day.

Bought a pressure washer this week end!!! Sick of trying to spray off chunks of mud with the hose, then 15 bucks at the carwash, wash again at home, and finally wax after mudding!

How long mine takes depends on how fast the Mexicans at the car wash take. Some days they are fast, others it takes a while. Either way, it never comes out good. But hey, it's gonna be dirty tomorrow anyway, so I usually dont sweat it too much.
