I guess that somewhat depends on where your dealer is located ...

Tacoma is no longer built in States.

I just ordered a different Toyota. 2 weeks ago was given 6 months, but last Saturday was given 3 month.

From what I've heard, a couple weeks to a little over a month is typical.
Also this, all made in Mexico now.

Taco double cabs (only) were being built in TX but my understanding is that all Tacos are now being assembled in Mexico.
This might be an indication of how much your sales person really knows ...

I received mine 2 weeks after the build. I live in Prescott, Az and the truck was built in Mexico.

Jayce, My temp vin showed the truck was to be built the first week of Jan 2022. TRD Sport DC 4x4 Army Green. My salesman told me last week they expect to have truck ready for pickup Feb 16th 2022 in Florida. So it looks like 5 weeks give or take a couple days.

Once your truck has been produced, it will appear on your dealer's Dealer Daily - ask them to take a screenshot from time to time and you can track your Taco's progress plus you'll get the anticipated dates of arrival at the port and the dealer.

    This was one of mine.

My 2021 TRD OR DCSB was built in Guanajuato, Mexico on November 5, 2020. It arrived at the dealership in the Phoenix Metro Area and I took delivery on December 11, 2020. The route of travel was overland to the west coast of Mexico, at which time it was loaded on a ship bound for Long Beach, CA where it was offloaded and port accessories were installed. It arrived in Long Beach about 10 days before arriving at the dealership. I and others speculate that since they are not shipping these trucks one at a time, your truck can wait for quite a while if it just missed one ship and has to wait while Toyota fills up another. These ships are huge and are not filled in a day.

In 2016 it took about 1.5 months. Later I toured the factory in San Antonio, that was awesome to see where it was born.

Can someone help me look up where the truck I ordered actually is in the transit process?
