My mechanic buddy says the water that collects in brake fluid will generally settle at the lowest point in the system which would be the bleeder valve. He says you should always bleed out just a little fluid when you do your brakes if you really want to remove the collected water in the system, if any is present. Fluid changes are a must, but that always seemed like good advice. He stated that is often why that is a point of failure in brake lines as the water is in constant contact at that location. Take it for what it's worth.

I’m at 74k on the original set and it’s on my list to change then out in the next month or so.

I had an Impreza so a bit smaller engine bay to work with. But much worse out there for sure.

I bought a 2019 off road with 86k miles. Found these factory plugs still running good. 30 years ago I would hit them with a wire brush and roll on but these NASA looking prescious metal iridium tips may crackup in the engine. I'm not taking that chance over $70 worth of parts and 2hrs IMG_5006.jpg IMG_5008.jpg IMG_5009.jpg IMG_5010.jpg

115k. Feels a little smoother. We shall see what mileage does.
