    I've had 2-
    A 2006 sport 6M from 2010-2016.
    My 2016 off-road 6A from 16+.

Sometimes I hate to admit it because I want to be a big man with a diesel 3/4, but it is the right truck for me.

I also learned to drive stick on a 97 4cyl Tacoma when I was about 13 or 14. That started the love affair with little Toyotas.

I'm hoping the same, bought it when I was 22, hoping it turns into one of those"it's the miles that makes the man" trucks!

I came from a 2012 and power seats, electric windows and LED lights are by far the best parts along with factory CarPlay.

I left the 3 pedal church after my 2006 because that was not a good transmission. The throw out bearing was an issue and 3rd was grinding bad by 90k miles. I know the 16 got a different trans, but I was not hopeful. Also, for low speed technical stuff without a crawl box, I was slipping the clutch way too much. Auto made better sense to me on many levels.

My first was an 04 TRD dcsb it was a great truck till someone pulled out in front of me on a highway and hit a tree when I left the road at 50 mph to avoid t-boning the in-bread clown on snow and ice covered roads. It protected my wife and daughter and I everyone walked away after hitting the tree. Since then I've had a 16, 19 and now a 21. I will never not own a Tacoma after it kept us all alive.

Bought a first year 2nd Gen OR new in 2005. Traded it 5 years later for a new Silverado. Drove a few different vehicles since but always regretted trading my 2nd Gen. Back in a Tacoma for 2 years now. Still thrilled driving my truck every time I get in it.

Mods? We don't need no stinking mods.
I saw a Nissan PRO-4X in the parking lot at work and thought it looked pretty cool. I went home and Googled it to get some info on it. First result was a YouTube comparison between the PRO-4X and the TRD Off-Road and the TRD was superior in every way. Never looked back.

2002 double cab 4 months. I like the lack of gadgets. Feels more like a real truck. Hope it lasts

Bought a new 1999 Tacoma and it was totaled in 2009 in an accident. I bought a new 2009 Suzuki Equator mostly because it was cheaper and I liked the look to replace it. Bought a new 2016 Tacoma which I still have and hopefully always will.

this is my 2nd Tacoma: 2021 SR5. Back in 1996 i bought a 96 4x4 (exactly like the one under my name). went to a Tundra after that but always missed the Tacoma. After going truckless for many years (Mustang Cobra, Pontiac GTO, and a few others), i bought an F-150....another mistake.... nothing but problems. So Im back in a Tacoma and Im planning on holding onto this one unless I get another 4x5
