How long should a new Tacoma last?

Why are you going to freak out over frame rust but turn around and buy a new Tacoma that has the same damn frame?

Just hang tight untill the frame recall and they replace your 2011 frame for free.

Talk about making a mountain out of a molehill.

 

It'll last as long as the frame does. The frames are a quiltwork of wielded segments, they usually rust from the inside-out near the cats.

The frame is different. Not sure if the alloys are or not. Who knows if they will be plagued by the frame rust/rot issues that the past 2 generations have had. They did put a fluid film type of fluid in the part that boxes up under the front part. I’m not completely sold that these won’t have the same issues. Only time will tell
