Just got my ecu updated, I can tell the slight difference how it the transmission isn't hunting for gears constantly.
But, how long until this euphoria disappears and the old shifting trends reappear?
    Or is it fixed permanently?

It will never get quite as bad as it was before - it will still learn to be more "efficient" but in my experience it never gets as bad as it was on the old ECU calibration + the shifting is now smooth and quick enough that it's not as frustrating. easiest way to circumvent all that is to drive in S-5 or S-6 all the time or get OVtune to permanently fix it. Give the TSB a drive for a good 1,000 miles though and see how it treats ya

in my case issues came back after 1K. I drove totally 2K and last weekend disconnected the battery to reset ECU.

By disconnecting the battery does it revert back to the old tune? I wouldn't think you wouldn't loose the tsb 58 or 62. How long do you let the battery stay disconnected? What's the purpose?

No it does not revert back, it keeps the current flash.
It’s been said to keep battery disconnected for approx 30 min.
It starts the learning process fresh again like it’s just been flashed.

Might try it. I had the 58 done, but maybe I'm getting use to it. I thought it was kinda giving me that 48 to 50 mph 5 to 6 gear hunting for gear feeling. Ever since I added a 265/70/17 it feels better.
