Instead of buying new tires, I've decided to milk the stock ones dry in order to put more into my payments over the next year or 2. Wondering how long your stock tires lasted until they were shot?? Disclose all relative info please!
And no I DON'T want to hear about how u changed them after 50 miles for your monster 35's blah blah blah, save it for another thread please.

I'm at 45k now(mostly hwy), still stock, 6/32 left on them. However this is the first winter I have done several accidental burnouts when wet. They will be replaced soon even though the thread looks fine and I don't ever see snow, they are simply not great tires when wet.

I won't tell you when I traded mine out blah blah blah but it may be worth your time going to a shop to ask what they'd give you for them towards another set. I got $425 for mine.

Tires and wheels? Damn $425 is more than I thought. Never really thought of trading em in, figured it would be a rip off

No. Just tires. Traded in all 5 of them because I also wanted my spare to be a 10 ply 32" tire instead of the P rated 31".

I didn't think it was worth driving on shitty tires for the first 2 or 3 years with my new truck. Threw on some Michelins which will last me 5+ years and now I have amazing traction in all weather and emergency braking. I can think of 1 case already where they absolutely saved me from an accident when someone ran a red in front in the rain of me an these things stopped me on a dime. Best safety feature on my truck IMO.

Dunlops are the worst tire I've ever had. They are OEM for Tacoma so I guess they just buy the cheapest POS they can. No traction in the rain - dangerous. I'm surprised there hasn't be lawsuits. I would get rid of them when ever you can afford it.

One can never have too many light bars.
36K and I'll probably change them before next winter.

I'm employing the same strategy, probably upgrading when they reach the end of their useful life. While they have many shortcomings as others have mentioned, the reduced road noise and enhanced mpg help mitigate the drawbacks for me.

Hehe, yea they are pretty poor OEM tires. Look up reviews. Mine should last about 5 years. Mileage is about 6k a year, so at 30k they will be replaced. Not due to mileage, due to heat damage since I live in Vegas. Batteries in Vegas last 3 -4 years, no more.

I just went over 40,000 this week and really have no complaints. I figure they're good for another 4,000 miles or so. I don't off-road and living in central Texas we don't get much ice and snow.

    All the time!!!
8,000 miles on mine before I finally said enough, is enough! And put some 265's Cooper Discoverer A/T3 on, now I wished I'd have done it sooner, the Cooper aren't hardly any noisier than Dunlap's were and ride better too. And the Dunlap's in water and wet roads, well lets not even go in to that!

Near 31,000 km in 3 and a half years here.
Lots of snow in the winter and icy roads.
Still 5.5 mm tread - 8 mm when they were new.
I'll be running them for some time yet.
Never had a problem ...Not a thing wrong with 'em ...

Just changed mine at 29,900. 6/32 left but started to have a lot of wet traction issues. Didn't want to start the winter snow slipping n sliding.
