I've had it for 7 years now, with 74k miles on it. Should last another 5 easy without too much worry about rust. I don't need to keep myself in new cars, but I won't drive a rustbucket either.

Let me put it another way - I'm in my mid 30s, have had 4 vehicles in my life and I still have 2 of them. If I could keep the Tacoma forever and keep a fun car on the side (currently a 5.0 Mustang) I'd be completely fine with that.

I've had this "toy" truck for 11 years now. I will never own a ford unless it's a classic with a LS swap lol. I've worked on a bunch of different trucks and fords seem to always suck even the 2018 raptor I just did turbo work on last month.

If Ford engines are so good, how come nobody swaps them into anything. I'll stop talking shit about Ford when they quit swapping ls motors into the mustangs.

Like I said before it's probably broken, and it's not like there is a Ford"moron" owners forum as cool as this one for help. A fords natural habitat is at the dealer where it was sold.

My 2012 is sitting at 65k miles. I'm going to keep it for at least another 5 years. I know one thing, when I do get rid of it, it'll be for another Tacoma. The 3rd gens are nice but right now it's not enough for me to trade up. The interior is the only thing I like about those trucks. Maybe in a few years some diesel option will come out or some better powerplant and I'll switch over.

My 2011 had 32K on it when I got it late 2013, now it's got 80K. I own it and I like the mods I've done so far. My favorite vehicle of the 13 I've had so far. It'll have to explode before I get the next one......

Isn't there a Ford forum? Or is it down for repairs?

Well I'm at 118k miles and the only thing under the frame that isn't practically new is the front wheel bearings...... and the frame is getting replaced under warranty....

So I'll keep this one for a long time
