    Do you have a key immobilizer around the ignition? If not, I bet this why yours starts immediately.

    Stock AF. My 68 Bronco and 2000 2.5RS get the mods.
    Quite possible, a ton of cars need to see oil pressure before they'll allow fuel and spark. I'll happily deal with a moment of delay for that. I've grown up with fuel injection so driving a carbed vehicle or an early EFI ford that bank fires always catches my attention when they fire right off.

    Yeah but with age, willing and able seem to be different things. :rofl:

    I put in new platinum denso plugs and it fires up on the 3rd crank everytime.
