A typical 6.5 foot bed sprayed to proper specifications will weigh around 50 pounds. The paint that is mixed with the Line-X to give it color might weigh ten pounds but a full covering of Line-X probably weighs quite a bit.

Bush rubs on both sides slightly scratched..... my gate has a dent i accidentally did with a pallet. two deep scratches i did on the bed with my dirtbike, made a little dent with my longboard. But it still looks really good when its washed, better yet custom texture's your never going to see on another truck :D

Plenty of pinstriping and enough dents (hail damage) and chips in the hood that I just herculined it rather than repair or replace it.

It may be 12 years old but my truck is still remarkably spotless, some people have a hard time believing that its a '99! Just a couple of minor dents and dings (only one that I'm responsible for).

You do realize bed's are sprayed to 1/4" thick material..... No one would make their entire truck that thick of spray. I'm clearly off on the 10 pounds, but I don't see it being 200+..

Yes I do realize that beds are sprayed to 1/4" thickness and bodies are sprayed to 1/8''. I was just guessing on the 200lbs it may be less. A guy claiming to be a Line-x dealer on another forum says that Line-x weighs .7 lbs per square foot at 1/8 thickness. If somebody enjoys crunching numbers I'm sure they could come up with a close approximation, assuming the weight is accurate.

A lot. I don't have any big dents, but I probably have several dozen small dents/scratches.

I just went outside and measured my truck, got a rough on the measurements.

I have tailgate x5 because outside once (1/8") inside x2 (1/4") and front of bed is about same size x2 (1/4").. bedside inside x4 (2 sides x2 (1/"4)) AND i have 2 measurements for bedside because I broke it up into 2 sections

    (x1) hood= 41"x54.5"= 2234.5"sq
    (x2) 1/4 panel= 9.5"x38"= 361"x2= 722"sq
    (x2) door= 45.5"26"= 1183"x2= 2366"sq
    (x2) x-cab= 22"x30"= 660"x2= 1320"sq
    (x2) bedside= 14"29"= 406"x2= 812"sq
    63"x17"= 1071"x2= 2142"sq
    (x5) tailgate(outside 1, inside x2, front of bed x 2)= 54.5"17"= 926.5"x5= 4632.5"sq
    (x2) bed (bottom)=54.5"x76"= 4142"x2= 8284"sq
    (x4) bed (inner sides)= 16.5x76"= 1254"x4= 5016"sq
    (x1) roof= 52"x48"= 2496"sq
    -----------------------------------------------------
    total square inches= 30,025" / 144"= ~208.51 sq ft

    ~208.51 sq ft times 0.7= 145.95#
add 15% (for creases, cracks, under bed rails, etc..)
    = ~167.85#

SO TRAILMAKER HAS A VALID POINT!! Could very possibly weigh close to 200#!! AND THAT'S IF IT REALLY WEIGHS 0.7# sq ft for 1/8"

Haha thanks for running those numbers. I figured it would only take a few minutes, someone just had to motivate and do it.
