How many ground straps are there for the 3.4

    The body has two intentional ground paths. One, the firewall, engine, main (block) ground cable and two, the little wire to the driver inner fender. The firewall wire is the metric equivalent of 6 or 8 gauge, the fender well is closer to 12 gauge. They carry all loads grounded to the body.
    I would say the firewall wire is part of the main body ground and the fender well wire is intended as a "supplemental" or a "bonding conductor".

    Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
    The reason I question this is with the tiny firewall to engine ground If it was missing I have no idea it was there .

    Going through 6 different year Toyota EWD`s It is not shown any place or any where in any of them..

    One can never have enough grounds .

    that is a 3.4 in the diagram but it looks like it was the maybe a ‘95.5 truck by the looks of that coke can style Charcoal canister by the brake booster.
