I blame stupied people who bro out trucks so they "look cool".

Never understood putting form over function. Think it has to do with small penis size.

Only a moron would pay three times the market value for a spacer lift thats put on by idiots at the dealer. I won't even let them touch my truck for an oil change let alone a lift...

You should drive by the chevy dealer in my town (but don't eat first). The lot is full of brand new Silverados with 6" lift kits.

The price tags on some of these things is in the $60K range, and people buy them!!!!!

Oh, and most of them have aftermarket 22" rims with low profile MT's, and earsplitting aftermarket exhausts.

It is a sickening site to behold indeed.

My theory is that women usually like more aggressive looking jacked up trucks! So guess what guys are going to buy more aggressive jacked up trucks. lol

Probably going to get more hot girls who want to take a ride in a jacked up modded out Tacoma that "looks cool", compared to a stock 5 lug base model.

Pardon my language, but I'm not sticking my dick in any woman that is so much of a slut what lift my truck has would make a difference if she let me hit it or not.

Thats like the silly broads who ask me what I do before they even know me... unless I'm hammered drunk I don't mess with sluts or silly bitches.

Sorry to make fun of your sister :D

I'd like to think of it the other way around.

I try and surround myself with good folks that are not self centered or materialistic. Doesn't mean the women I meet and know don't put out when they are horny...... just means they don't use bullshit as a determining factor.

You guys really think the majority of consumers are that smart??? Most people buy crap cuz it looks cool. Sure, members of tacomaworld and any other offroading site won't purchase them if they're modded, but I would say that's a small percentage. IMO I don't think it adds value either, but I feel like if someone is choosing between my modded truck and another stock truck, and they are priced similarly, then they will more often then not choose the modded truck, cuz it looks 'cooler'. Of course this is if the conditions of the trucks are similar as well

But really who cares? This thread is about lifts for looks or lifts for use. Maybe we can make a lifted trucks resale thread instead

Well there's more pages talking about resale than whatever the original topic was... So i'd say it was hijacked haha

A lift is in the works because the Sr5 stock suspension was assembled using bottom of the barrel parts and the quality of the ride that is my commute sucks stock. So, a few more g's are spent. If ya look at the upcharge for a sport vs Sr5 there is room for adding Aftermarket components.
