yeah i wasnt digging the flatt look i used semi and it looked much better , i payed so much attn. to the side where the worst bondo was i didnt sand the bottom good enough, going to take it back off this weekend and fix it . its killing me i cant stand it , mainly when u do this everyone wants to see it and then there like well looks good except that down there ... grrrr

 

If you cut carefully there is no need for bondo on the bottom, the mounting tabs left from removing the center part of the grill can be sanded down flush.

homer ur .02 would have been worth at least $10 worth of sanding lol , when i cut them i sanded them with a dremel going lower with intentions of building up with the bondo so its smoothe , just a lil more sanding nothing major , and if uve figgured out a way with mo bondo and no fiberglass thats awsome! To lil to late unfortunatly , story of my life .

 

You still need it on the top though!
