    Hey guys,
Taco n00b here but I drive lots of Toyota.
And if you guys think a 4cyl taco is slow.... Try driving a doublecab ln106 solid axle hilux. Mine is HEAVY! And has a NA 2.8 diesel with 90 hp and 130 lbs

My hilux makes the "slow" 4cyl look like a veyron!

Mind you the luxxy also has over a million kms on the ticker ;]

Makes me sad to see the Toyota hate... We are one big family and should stick together and back each other up!!!!!

I had a 97 v6 4x4 and my 2012 I4 4x4 feels like it has more power. The v6 do roll on the highways better. However no need to drive 100mph. Also I don't feel safe in a big truck at those speeds. One quick turn and your flipping going that fast. The dealer didn't even have a regular cab (what i wanted) with a v6 on the lot. He said people buying reg cab mostly want I4 to save on gas. Not sure if this is true or just a sales thing.

This must have been what set you off. Oz running around BC with his carpenter bags on trying to put everything back together the rioters destroyed. Problem was, all he had was a philips and a robertson screw driver. Everyone knows Vancouver was put together, straight slot screw by straight slot screw...

I have a gas guzzler 7.5 liter and i love it, when you need to move 10-15000 lbs, but i love my 4 banger just as much. it is more than capable to do everything and more that youre average person will throw at it and im getting around 25 mpg.......vs 8-10. hahah i will take it. needless to say, my f350 has had very few miles put on in the last 6 months.

I've surprisingly never seen any 4 cylinder bashing on this site. That's a good thing. :D

To me, the OP, with his thread question and condescending "V6 drivers .. have a purpose too," was trying to stir up animosity between the two (V6 & I4 owners), which obviously would not be a good thing. Sadly, judging from some of the responses, he was partially successful in that effort.

and what you need. That would be like a v8 tundra owner saying nice little toy your taco v6. My i4 doesn't climb bridges well but every time I fill up I'm glad I got the 4.
