Sounds like a plan. You gonna get any lights for your new F-150?

I definitely get that. I have used the factory wiring harnesses for all the lights, but the rough country has crap insulation and it rubbed right through. I'm not at all pleased with that light bar, considering I paid dang near $200 for it. I am really considering getting rid of it. I may need to fab a bracket to mount the winch control box, and I may use the light bar mounting tabs to do it. We shall see when I go to install the winch probably this weekend.

I'm planning on putting DD SS3 Pro fogs on it just like on my old Taco. Also thinking of putting a VLED license plate reverse light on as it's hard to back up at night with the tint this truck has. Probably going to leave the halogen headlights alone and only put LEDs in the marker lights.

Yeah, I am not "that guy" I do turn them off when people are coming towards me. I do a bit of frequent night off-roading, but I really want something to punch out further than my current light setup.

As far as the fuses and switches, I have used the factory wiring harnesses, so they should be well protected.

Good plan. My morimoto xb fogs in my taco are good, but not great. They are more accent amber lights, rather than actually lighting up a large spread.

Those SS3s are no joke if you want to upgrade. I'd definitely recommend the Pros. My Taco, mom's car and dad's truck all have SS3 Pros

I'm considering it, I would like the amber floods. I may save up for when they go on sale.

They're about 380 for the Pros! They've gone up considerably since I bought them for my Taco but they are really really nice lights to have:annoyed:

We are going to call them today about it. I only got one of them as it was falling off while the tow truck driver was loading it up. I might still get the other one back :fingerscrossed:

Lots of lights, as long as your battery doesn't look like a rats nest

If you have a lot of aux wires going to your batter check out what our partners over at 4x4 Spod have. It's a fully canbus system that brings all the wiring into a single unit and allows you to run a single ethernet cable to your controller in the cab.

I mounted them up temporarily just to see what it looks like. I have these stupid clamp things now, but I am going to weld a tab on there if I actually go with the lights. One of them is broken, that's why the light is messed up.

What do ya'll think? It's about to storm here, and I'm gonna pull them off for now, but if I do go with them, I'll install them at the same time as my winch that I have, probably this weekend.
