This. My truck had 55k on when I got it, but the undercarriage is a mess with rust. A visual inspection of the frame will go a long way.

OP, if that truck is what you say it is, it will bring top dollar even with the mileage. I just bought mine with 166,000 miles. I did a lot of homework before I bought it, and I watched every Tacoma on ebay sell for top dollar for a several month period. Dealers and craigslist too. If you see one you want (at least in this part of the country) you need to act quick or someone else will get it.

I'v been looking at a ton of trucks lately to buy and though most of their frames are in good shape (some replaced) I'm concerned about rusty drive shafts, gas tank, shields, etc.

Are these things a major concern as well??

How is that possible? Hahaha. I'll have more miles than that on my truck this year, and mine is a 2010. :p

any car will last if you take care of it. i just got rid of a 2007 pontiac G5 put 108k miles on it and it still had plenty more. changed the oil every 5k miles purred like a kitten. the only reason i got rid of it was i needed a 4x4 to get on my road in the winter. if it was dealer maintained id say jump on it. You know they had her replacing half of the car every time she went in for an oil change lol.
