I'm only at a little over 166k. Unfortunately its only 4k on the new-used motor. Turns out you loose a little oil at 70mph with this in the side of the block........

From the best I can tell it spun a bearing for cylinder 2, the rod let go came back around and punched the hole just behind the oil filter. I was getting up to speed on a somewhat potholed section of Hwy so felt a jolt, but no CELs and only thing was a really light, what I thought was a misfire (at the time I was having intermittent coil pack issues so I didn't think much of it). About 5 more miles down the road I started to hear a really faint metallic whine, pushed in the clutch to pull over and the engines siezed instantly and the dash lit up. I came back to the section of Hwy I felt the jolt the next morning and there was a 6ft wide 100ft long spray of 5w-30.

Im old, MT's are all i have every driven. I think its more how you drive them plus i hate changing a clutch. Both are TRD's and have spent 1000's of miles off road. Might just be luck but i am a Taco man till i die. Just bought a new green pro but can not part with my first gens. Even though i am about to have to spend some money on the 02 if i keep it as a DD.

I just replaced my clutch, throw out bearing, and rear main seal alittle while ago, had about 200000 on the clutch. Clutch was looking good still. I used a Toyota brand last time and this time. They last! And like he said, I believe it’s how you drive them.

3 months later and added 14.5k miles to 154500 ... it was a busy spring/early summer hauling all over the place on cheap taco juice (0.91c being the lowest i found out there) never let a crisis goto waste
yesterday was the first time in almost 4 months i put over $2 a gallon in it 2.09, found a place local today 1.74 still not too bad not great
