297,000 on original motor and trans here. v6 auto.

But as Kwikvette hinted at, there are no guarantees. Best you can do is good quality maintenance (work and parts) and don't abuse it.

240k here on original everything. Just been keeping up with maintenance. Fluid changes mostly and some valve cover gaskets. Needed a new master cylinder, and replaced front calipers instead of rebuilding them same with the rear drum cylinders, various suspension stuff. For a 16 year old truck it's amazing.

    No drivetrain issues at all...yet.

Since it has already been pointed out there is no way to give you an exact answer, I would just add that the 1st engines are some of the longer lasting engines around from that time period.
You have a good chance of reaching 300,000 or more if routine maintenance has been decent.

My head gasket popped at 480,000
So either new head gaskets or new motor

Manual transmission should go on forever if the Oil has been changed regularly.

    Everything but the driveshaft. B03A - 410
Depends a lot on how the previous owner cared for the cooling system.

There are folks running half a million miles or more on the orig engine/trans. Then there are folks who grenade a motor at 150k.

It all depends on how it was taken care of.

I'd take a well maintained 240k motor with good service records over an unknown one with 75k miles...

I have 320k on mine with regular maintenance. Best way to tell the health of the engine is to do a compression test and compare those numbers with the ones in the Factory Service Manual.
