Go tell then the squeek is coming from the pivot ball socket at the end of the push rod for the master cylinder... They can put 100 clutch pedal assemblies in the thing but it won't fix it until you grease this.

210,000 on a 1997 2.7 manual 4x4. This engine runs smooth. No leaks of any kind any where. Synchro's are a little worn.

I don't know the history of this truck and it's new to me.

I was told buy a dealer that after so many miles are on a vehicle that the odometer readings are not necessarily correct and the law covering the changing of the oddometer doesn't matter after a certain number of miles. I also talked to a guy that worked at a shop where many older vehicles were "adjusted" to lower miles as soon as they came onto the lot.

I noticed when I was searching on-line for my Tacoma that there were a couple used car dealers that seemed to have more older vehicles with low mileage. Like a lot of '96 to 2000 with 130,000 to 160,000.

Mine is in good shape and I would of believed 160,000 easy.

At that rate you will put about 50,000 miles on it this year. I know, new toy and everything. Good luck with the truck.

95 tacoma. v6 3.4 4x4 with 267,000 miles. Only put about 3k on it since i bought it in Feb or March. New shocks(they were stock), New ball joints(they were stock) (since one failed and left me stranded and bent my fender in) Now the 02 sensors are bad, im sure theyre stock too. And it either has a valve cover gasket leak or a camshaft leak...Not sure.
