375-400 year round here in FL.

400 was easier to attain with stock tires on current taco and less weight of DCSB on my 2011...

Pretty much same here.....only did it a couple times, I worry about the fuel pump.

Tire size for me is minimal tho....265/75/r16 and load range C, so I don't "think" I added too much.

WTF?!!! I know my truck is brand new, but I am down to a quarter tank and not even at 200 miles yet. 50/50 mix and driving it mildly until break in. I need to go check my tire inflation or something! I was not expecting a Prius by any means but I was hoping for more than 13-14!!!!!!!

Guys, guys... first off... the tank holds 21.1 gallons. Second, you should never run it dry. Third, the gauge needle pointing to 1/4 full line doesn't mean you have 1/4 of 21 (or 5.25 gallons) still in the tank... you do have 8 gallons at that point (+/- .5).
When the low fuel light comes on, you have 4 gallons (fill up with 17 gallons).
When the needle is right on the E line, you have 3 gallons (fill up with 18 gallons).

I don't very often, but have put over 19 gallons in the tank (needle is below E), so if you ran out and pushed it to a pump and could not add more than 18.5 gallons, there are other issues, or you didn't top off (some states don't allow topping off). I don't mean fill it till it runs on the ground, either!

The only way you can accurately figure mileage is miles driven divided by fuel used , not OMG I'm at xxx miles at around a 1/4 ish tank or so

you're talking to about 5-7 guys here. the rest are trying to figure out what a little bit past 1/4 tank on the gauge means in actual gallons..

this thread is goofy. math is powerful ju-ju.

I stopped the video a couple seconds in. No 'R' to the left of 1st gear. Definitely a 5 speed 4 cylinder.

I've averaged 24 mpg at that speed for an extended period but I had one mother of a tailwind. More typical is around 21 on summer gas.

More than one person around here has pushed 25 mpg on the automatic in the 60-65 mph range but they're usually PreRunners

I get roughly 350km's when it dips just below a quarter tank, which is when i usually fill up. I don't do a whole lot of highway driving so my mileage blows.

For the lower 48: 260 miles and 17 gallons... 15.3 mpg

Basically close to what I get if I don't have any highway miles (ie. city or stop and go driving)

The E light coming on at 17 gallons used, also is spot on with my findings.

    Thanks Oz!
