My 09 has a 107K as well with no major issues to date, these trucks are very well built in my opinion.

"these trucks are very well built in my opinion." Isn't that why we bought them ? That is why I bought mine - I heard the 2.7 was bullet proof. Hope it's true.

Hey Guys first post here, have been checking the site out for a while trying to make up my mind between the Taco and the Frontier. Ok, so I will buying a 2nd gen Taco in the near future. Access cab 4x4 5 speed. Around here there is a huge difference in price if you buy a truck with 30,000kms versus one with 95,000kms. Somewhere between a 5 and 10k price drop. Should I be concerned with buying one with around 90-95k on it?

    95,000 kilometers?
I would not hesitate to buy one with 95,000 kms (my '08 had almost that on it).

Seriously, 30k kms vs 95k kms is nothing. You're comparing virtually brand new to a truck that's 2 years old. There's still a LOT of life left in a 95k km truck.

I burned my clutch twice both times i was just too hardheaded to shift to 4 low offroad, once was backing off a trail to turn around / let the rest of my group pass and the other was at the beach in so extremely soft sand that i had buried the truck in a couple hours before during low tide and high tide was coming in and burying it deeper (by buried i meant the tires) but the clutch still seems fine, I will probably be changing my clutch out long before I should be because of both of these incidents! lol but my truck is almost a year old (to me it's an 08) and it's got 93k i purchased it at 55k March 4 will be one year, so i'm at 38k in one year prolly gonna b 40 k by the fourth and only oil changes so far, well and the front seal was replaced (warranty work)

Not sure. Once I realized that my clutch was the problem it was fairly easy to find info. I didn't dig that deep though. Took it into the dealer and they replaced my LUK clutch with an AISIN. They also put in a new flywheel.

That was last week and my truck drives like a champ. The AISIN clutch is stiffer than the LUK, I can tell you that. My truck also shifts alot smoother than it ever has.

"seal was replaced (warranty work" was it the driver side wheel seal ? Mine went but I didn't think to check a warranty - 60,000 2008. Thanks.

Been searching for this for a while bit I cant find it so this thread might work. I am 43,000 miles and I am going to need to get my front pads replaced. I am going to hold off and try to do it at 50k. Anyone know the cost of the 5Ok maintenance?
