I have a 2019 vette with 22k....I am concerned about how soon a major failure will occur on a chevy,
as they are notorious for lack of longevity/reliability....but it sure looks better than 99% of the autos on the road & is pretty darn fast
pros & cons in life, huh?

if toyoda could just build a sports car that looks & performs like a c7/c8 vette for a reasonable price (around $50-60k)
the world would be perfect (& the new supra doesnt count, its a bmw sadly)

Have a 2015 SR5 ACLB with 55k. Bought it a year ago and put about 10k on this year. Only item more expensive than oil changes done was new battery. Was originally told by middle of nowhere auto shop was the alternator and should do immediately. Luckily waited and was only battery. Regarding maintenance items, per taco maintenance manual, the only things ever really replaced are plugs at I think 60k and 120k. Says to do a couple things with propeller shaft but that’s it. Took it in to Toyota dealer for frame inspection and they told me I needed fluids changed on multiple items due to maintenance schedule, but didn’t. So what really needs to be done and what approximate schedule?
Off-roading is really only a few times a month at a friends farm and not towing anything yet.

Only Major thing was an alternator at 110k. Everything else has been maintenance or addons.

45K on my '13. Thinking about doing some road-trippin' this Spring, maybe up the East coast, or East to West to pump those rookie numbers up.

I turned over 170K on my 2014 this week. Any major maintenance was a result of trail damage, just normal preventative maintenance besides that.

before my Tacoma I had 2 Silverados and 2 Tahoes and they all surpassed 300,000 before I sold them. the last Tahoe had 360,000 and it was still going. I also have a Jeep YJ and its at 240,000 and still going. I had a 1990 Toyota that made it to 385,000 and I sold it to a Mexican guy and he drove it back and forth to Mexico about 5 or 6 times from Florida. last I talked to him it was over 500,000 and he finally changed the timing chain and it was still going. My Nissan truck and Xterra were both wrecked shortly after 100,000. I had 2 Ford trucks and the motor went in one at 83,000 and everything else went in the other at 120,000, both F250's

Dude, your truck is worth more now than when it sold new way back when in the good ole days of 2012/2013

    What a wacky world
Tacos appreciate in value, who woulda guessed?
