Still breaking in 2018 Limited, slightly disappointed with mileage so far (390 miles to empty):

Driving through the hill country in texas gets me around 300 miles per fill up.

I average roughly 20-21 mpg in my tacoma. Most of my driving is highway to and from work and occasional trips down the street. My biggest accomplishment was making it from Virginia Beach to Charleston on one tank and have about a gallon left over.

No idea how the hell yall are getting over 300 unless y’all are bone stock with a tailwind... 280 if I’m traveling long distances. About 250-260 in town. Either something is wrong with my shit, or y’all are crazy.

    All-factory options at this point.
This whole "how many miles to a tank load" thing is funny, to Minnesotans driving 5+ months of winter per year. You learn early in life to ignore those types of statistics, especially if you warm up your rig in the morning on -20 degree days.

If you are relying on the dash metrics...they are not correct. Trip the odometer after your next fill-up and then when you fill up again divide the miles on the odometer by the number of gallons you just put into the truck...my dash claims I'm getting 22-23 mpg but it's more like 17-18 mpg.

I usually get around 350 miles per tank with mostly highway commuting.

I hate pulsing the nozzle at the gas station just to reach my 21 gallons of gas. It automatically stops at around 18 gallons..and I usually fill with 15 or so miles left before I go to the gas station. Is this normal?

    If i drive spirited - 17.3
    If i drive relaxed - 19.6

I live in a hilly area. I climb uphill BOTH WAYS to work. i am 100% okay with these MPGs

I always run non ethanol gas. (Shell, or BP) trips to cabin are CTY HWY's 55 mph, but usually I'm at 62-65 mph Northern WI into U.P. (MI) Only mod is 15 TRD Pro suspension. Last trip 22.4 mpg, in summer have pulled 24.5. I calculate G into M, don't go by dash read out.

    Edit: Dash shows 365-370 DTE.
