You guys have me about convinced that I need to do this.

My vibes showed up about 2k miles after lifting and that was 18k ago! It's not terrible, but I'd still like to eliminate it.

I'll likely wait until they do some kind of sale like they did last Labor day. They sell the install tool for $45. I feel ignorant asking this, but would something like this work for the install?

Any better tools or kits for equivalent price?

Mine has about 25k on it now. I haven't inspected the bushing itself but replaced the diff fluid about 2 weeks ago and didn't have any significant debris indicative of failure. Vibes are still gone so I would say it is still working well and should continue lasting.

My 2015 DCSB has 29k on it and the vibes got very noticeable after I lifted it (5k ish ago) Bushing/tool ordered today so I'll be putting it in next week. Anyone else needing the tool- I know where you can score one with very little use on it for a discount :D

Just out of curiosity...any more updates on life span of these bushings? I gotta do my front diff ADD this weekend, bought the bushing a while ago, had vibes, dealer said it was CV axle (covered under warranty) and the vibes did go away...still dont have vibes, but wondering if i should still do it while im getting dirty...and a fresher CV installed...

Mine now has about 50K on it now problems. I had both CVs out recently and inspected the bushing and it has no abnormal wear or issues at all.

If this seems to be once and done is it worth me buying the removal tool for $60 or pay the hour of shop labor and have them do it for around $85 (hourly rate)?

    Never ending spiral...
41,000 miles on my '06 since installation, with no vibes. Currently have my front diff out to fix a cracked frame (the notorious motor mount support FAIL), and there is NO perceptible play in the bushing. Considering putting one in the other side while it's out of the truck....
