    AFAIK, Islamic "extremists" are individuals/groups that take their interpretation of scripture to a different level. The same goes for other religious groups.

    very true... thats why i don't view all christians (or muslims for that matter) as extremists


    people do a lot of crazy shit in the name of religion... they also do a lot of good in the name of religion... both of which use the same text as reasoning for their actions, just a different interpretation of it.
