Removed my air dam last night. Took two 35+ mile trips today and got 23.4 mpg and 23.0 mpg. Haven’t done that same trip with it on before to know the difference but if I’m getting 23+ without it I’m good.

As opposed to being a punk-ass bitch, I'll happily accept being called "old".

You do need to understand ageism is very pervasive in our society and it is just as insidious as racism, sexism, xenophobia, homophobia, and religious intolerance. I'm 65 and have no problem being called "old" in fun, I mean hey, I'm older than the parents of most of my co-workers and kind of enjoy being the "token old man"; but when comments are made which indicate age is some sort of a deficiency, then I get a tad ticked off. So, "calm down", no, sorry, you stepped over the line with that comment.

My challenge is being able to hook up the snow plow in a driving snow storm and then to see where the plow is on the road. Or be able to drive very carefully and accurately into a trailer using my bow hitch that is attached to the plow push plates. My first gen taco was better for this but we have this rust stuff in Maine. Not a problem in the lower 40 or so.

Unless you have a camera on the front you can’t see the hitch or plow on any vehicle, front or rear. Admit it, you want a scoop but are scared to admit it :boink:

If I'd wanted a scoop I'd have kept mine. I've thought about a front and if I save the dough and have a fine summer weekend I might go for it. I've been unimpressed by the rear in glare/ low angle sun conditions and one does have to keep the snow clear. I've seen front grills snow clogged. What I really want is a new old gen 1 truck I think. A much better way to get into low range with a shift lever and didn't have the useless space in front of the radiator.

Don't be baffled, its only a personal opinion meant not to disgrace anyone. If one prefers a certain model thats their choice, and no ones else, just like the exterior color of a vehicle...no one else needs to like it, but yourself....besides i've ridden, or raced many different brand, and model motorcycles at one time or another, none were perfect.
What get me more than anything today is why one has to be so self conscious what other people think of them....just blows my mine they need to be constantly liked, or their not accepted, or offended.

It's because threads like these on various topics are filled with people that think others GAF about their Ken doll non-functional bulge (skewp) ..and they continue posting about it.

For the Ken dolls following this thread... this particular thread is about the air dam (chin strap). Please stay on topic and happy Friday Eve.
