My air dam is leaning against a wall in my tool room...had to make way for the TRD skid plate 3 years ago.

I left mine on. Doesn’t bother me. It is black plastic and not noticeable from certain angle/distance and not worth removing unless doing frequent off-roading.

If my Taco came with one, I would have had the Dealership remove it before I even picked up the truck. :boink:

I remove it if I am going off road. I keep it other times because it helps MPG and in the winter it keeps some of the salt away from frame.

I put a Airdam on my 4x4 OffRoad about 6 months after buying it new....made the truck complete.

BUT ITS COMING OFF....going to lift my truck 3.5" real soon

Ive ordered 20x12 -51 offset Chrome Vision Razor wheels & 305 50 20 Atturo Trail Blade XTs .

So I'm going to remove Airdam when these are installed..and have these new wheels on my truck from April to November of each year ...then re install airdam for my old wheel & tire setup from December thru March winter driving..

The Airdam DOESNT LOOK RIGHT WITH A LIFTED TRUCK.. IMO

I couldn’t decide so I alternate between air dam on and air dam off every 5 miles.

I'm one of the few who actually bought one from the dealer when I got my OR, and I did it primarily because I drive a lot of highway miles and only do mild offroad. Then, after the dealer cross threaded and bunged up the mounting bolts for the stock sheet metal skid, if you can even call it that, I bought the TRD skid plate and installed it. Then it took less than ten minutes with one of those little cutting wheels on a Dremel to notch out the air dam for a perfect fit and re-attach it. It's minus a couple of mounting points from that surgery but it's on there good and tight with no problems on the last road trip of 1300 miles in August. It looks great and it works great too.

Hey, it's got traction bars, headers, and the hood scoop... So that leads me to believe there must be a Hellcat engine under the hood! Gotta give that some love man!

I still think the air dam would help going down windy mountain passes, I know my TRD OR gets squirrely in the passes otherwise it drives fine and straight on the flats
