I've added a secondary air dam to reduce the amount of wind resistance on my primary air dam, and a third air dam to further reduce drag and improve air flow. My Tacoma now cuts through the airlike a humming bird. Sounds like one to!

J/K my OR didn't come with a chin strap. I'd probably have taken it off if they did.

Not to mention, the ladies seriously dig the look, in and out of the truck.

I agree. I'm putting my faith in that the Toyota engineers aren't designing stuff willy-nilly because it 'looks bitchin'.. There's a lot of stuff on our trucks, down to tiny details, that was designed that way for a reason. Works for me..

I believe the TRD Sport is the only one that comes with the Air Dam--since the Sport is designed for street driving.

Look around. Virtually every truck made in the last decade has this feature. Ford, Chevy, Ram and of course Toyota. That said, I took the one I had on a previous Sport model off and installed a TRD skid plate. Looked better and with my driving habits zero affect on MPG. If you do a lot of high speed highway driving pushing past 70 mph you might see some MPG decline. But around town, suburban type driving which only involves a limited amount of freeway travel there should be no difference. You'll waste more gas going through the fast food drive through then that air dam could possibly save you.

Get a TRD Skid or an Air Dam?

The TRD Skid will not allow the Air Dam to be re-installed--which is a good thing. It's beautiful!

Took mine off, put on the TRD skid plate, some demon brackets, and D ring hooks. Don't flame me, I know I can't use those hooks for actual recovery other than maybe something very light :)

    Thank you!

I just had a good laugh at your expense.

That's about the worse "flaming" I'll do...is laugh at your guilty explanation.
