Might be dead to the rest of the Sport guys, but my truck works for a living launching boats, hauling iceboat gear, and plowing my road. It's really nice to be able to see over the hood, and I really dislike non functional mech bits.

I don't understand this argument of "not being able to see" over the scoop. I have one, it makes zero difference in visibility.

What people without a scoop see…

    FB9FDC83-021A-4018-B8E0-0509A1814C41.jpg

    What we see…..everything you see…

I could care less if they have a scoop or not, as long it gets us from point A to point B and does what we need it to is the purpose of any vehicle.

    That is hilarious!

Initially, I had to get use to it because I've never owned a vehicle with a skewp. Now, it's just like normal driving for me.

Imo, scoops just look goofy on pickup trucks, especially scoops that are non-fuctional on 4wd ones.

    Agreed.

The proclamation to state a negative opinion on a forum is American human nature.

    I'm baffled by it.

Why does the opinion have to be vocalized in a way to disgrace owners--as if to question their integrity about the choice taken; simply because of a personal preference?

It's target fixation...which is a trait you don't want to have while riding a motorcycle.

I prefer my scoop precisely because it looks goofy.

The Tacoma is not a truck for serious business. It doesn't go to the opera, nor does it stand around at quiet cocktail parties and brag about the returns you just made on the London exchange.

It isn't a work truck. It isn't a fashion statement. It's a vehicle that shows up at your cousin's wedding in blue jeans and a flannel shirt and toasts the bride with no fewer than 5 Ric Flair "Whoo's"

The Tacoma tells the world that I'm this many years old, I like looking at ants through a magnifying glass and stomping in mud puddles, and when I grow up I wanna be a dinosaur.

Tacoma. Fuck yeah it had better come with a scoop.

Now, this is more of a positive perspective.

Very creative writing to describe youthful exuberance.
