We gave our realtor 6 houses to look at on a Wednesday and by Saturday when we went to look 4 of them were pending contract. Basically if a house has been on the market for more than a week, that's kind of unheard of.

My parents have 5 cars worth of space. One of them is full of junk, and the other has had a 67 camaro project in there for about 15 years..the rest of it is full of junk.

I'd love a garage. I only have a very tight car port, which has lawnmowers and bikes mostly. I just bought a new mustang and I'd like to keep it under there with a cover or something (especially since it's black). My 07 Taco will continue to live outdoors. It only barely fits in there anyway.

Yeah, my father in law is gifting us his old Gravely 148z Zero Turn, I don't really have anywhere to put it unless we had a shed out back and the yard to this house isn't really big enough for a shed. Hell it's not really big enough for the lawn mower but hey, it was free and nice.

for sure! i feel the same way but with the car.. have owned it for 10 years, its still in superb condition... i got the truck to shuttle mountain bikes with my buddies, so i already got a few scratches and such from bikes and taking her off road in general. at the end of the day, its a truck. it needs some battle scars.... however, a scratch or ding in the racecar, ill shed tears. haha.

I shed a tear when my wife went to get in and bumped her back jeans pocket on the rear door and scratched it a little.

I've been learning to kind of let things go as I'm not very good at because I do realize shit happens. It's just tough :)

Just a bunch of old crap
I'm lucky, I guess. 2 car garage, with my truck next to my wife's G35. I have all of my rolling tool boxes in front of my truck, and room to pull straight in. On both sides of our garage, we have those big shelving units from Costco where I store all of my outdoor gear, power tools, etc on my side, and her side has all of our holiday decorations boxed up. Still room to open my driver's door and both of her doors. I park really close to my shelving on my passenger side. It's a snug fit up front, and if I need to get into a tool box, I have to move the truck.

I think I'd be ok with that, however there is no room on the side for ANYTHING.

My wife isn't the type to do any of the wife stuff people have posted in here. She's also very careful about making sure the kids are safe with their doors. Her explorer has been door dinged by someone else twice in just over a year. The other day I even heard her bark at our 10 year old for riding her razor between our cars. She looks out for the new mustang for me..lol.

BUTTTTTT...yesterday she cackled and told me she wrote WASH ME on the mustang. The beautiful, brand new, shiny BLACK mustang. I was like WTFFFFF that scratches the clearcoat! It took a couple minutes of her grinning and me bitching for her to realize I was serious. I love her dearly.

It looks so mean though. I'm just gonna coat it in an inch of wax.

I don't think my wife thinks I'm serious when I told her running your hand on the paint with dirt scratches up the paint.

Just had a garage built and it is really nice 20 x 24. My Tacoma and wife's Highlander fit well, Corolla gets to stay outside.

When my house was being built, the design was for a garage 20 ft. deep. I had the builder add 4 ft. so that I could have some more room. It wasn't cheap but worth ever penny.

When we went house shopping I wanted a 3 car garage, NO swimming pool
We got a pool and a 2 car garage, so my Tacoma gets the garage and my wife's Lexus sits outside.
    BTW I hate the pool

My wife is spoiled she leaves for work in the winter from a heated garage and comes home and pulls into a heated garage.
