Superglue maybe? Nevada doesn't require one IF there is no front license plate holder. Since we have the two little dimples, we're good to go naked in the front.

Its required if you live in Texas. I'm stationed in SC now and would like to take it off and just hold onto it if i ever drive back in state... But since the license plate mount is pretty much screwed straight into the bumper, if i did take it off i'd have two ugly holes up front :(

drove w/o plates for over 11 years before moving to LA, then got a ticket just some 6 mo after moving there...hope my $10 was worth the salary of the meter maid that wrote me up.

i then installed a front plate and got a ticket a few months after that...i was pissed for several reasons: 1 - I HAD A FRONT PLATE!!, 2 - never received a ticket on my truck, first i knew of it was from a delinquent notice received in the mail, 3 - the address on the ticket was not even a valid address, it was an 8 digit prefix, when the street only has 4 digit numbers!! i had to have two reviews of the address...LA is so stupid...

i didnt need one in AB, then when i came down to NL the lady gave me 2, i told her i'm not drilling holes in my bumper, so she said just keep it in your vehicle then and the po-po shouldn't have a problem if i was to get pulled over.

A long while back, I had a 87 Monte Carlo SS without a front plate and i got a ticket. I've had a front plate on all my vehicles since then.

When I lived in Florida I didn't have one. However Wisconsin gives you 2, and by law you have to have the front one on or you may get a ticket ::mad:

Illegal in Colorado to not have a front plate. Even if it's a sports car with no bracket, i.e. BMW M3. But rarely are we pulled over for it, usually a 2nd offense just to tack on to the ticket.
