How many of you have managed to have gotten "in trouble" on TW?

I read the article (well, most of it). What an elitist prick. I haven't been skiing in a bunch of years, the knees probably wouldn't take it anymore and I still need them for work, but this article is exactly why I would go out of my way to only ski in jeans. Several guys I used to ski with did the same. Blowing my own horn, I was a pretty damned good skier. Falling gets you wet for the day?! How 'bout not falling to start with and that's on any slope. And the guys I skied with skied hard. Waist deep powder will cover you but that stuff is pretty dry and doesn't generally stick. Besides, in the midwest, you don't have to worry about waist deep powder.

Then there's the new skier angle. I used to see new skiers all of the time in jeans and never thought any less of them. Who the hell wants to shell out several hundred dollars on clothing for a sport you don't know if you'll be any good at or enjoy? Or...maybe they aren't there to impress others and just want to enjoy themselves.

I'm trying to time my banning for when I don't need to buy something, sell something, waiting on delivery of something, or reference an install for something, which is never.
