How many of you have managed to have gotten "in trouble" on TW?

Got it: "No" to all of the above. I've just learned a ton from his videos and was thinking: "gee: this good info: everyone should see this! This person can hold his own: he doesn't need me! Thank you for the quick response: I appreciate it!

That was a fun one. And a prime example of why we can’t have nice things.

I'm definitely going to follow the rules, and you don't owe me anything, I would just like to know why. How does it hurt TW for people to post Tacoma related videos? I figured it would create more traffic from Google searches. Seems short sighted to me on someone saying "never" to stuff.

Anyways, I've learned my lesson and will be a good boy.

 

YouTube content is created in many cases to earn revenue. Well, enough times to matter.

So letting members endlessly post self created content turns Tacomaworld into a free advertisement. Which is not the purpose of the site.

It is innocent enough posting an odd YouTube video when it answers a question. But allowing endless YouTube videos opens the flood gates, proving time and time again why “we can’t have nice things.”

 

That’s why I use the metric system.

Could a youtube channel become a supporter of the forum and then post content. Then it wouldn't be "free" advertising. Not poking or being difficult, just asking.
