It was no big deal until a Mod is saying he post his videos. That tells me there is a way to do it without getting banned. How can someone post a link to their own video and not get banned?

 

You’re reading too much into this. Don’t go posting your videos in an open fashion stating clearly they are yours. That draws attention.

But if you have a video that answers a posted question, posting it as an answer without stating HEY GUYS I MADE THIS is fairly low risk. Does it violate the terms and conditions? Well, did you drive over the speed limit today? Did you get pulled over?

TW has been burned by people promoting self content. Because those people made a big deal (cough cough see my post linking to a members only thread cough cough).
