I've been following this Rosen unit for months now. I wanted one so bad, and sent some emails to them asking some questions about the unit. they are great units your looking for factory nav.. but other than that, they unfortunately fall short. I currently have a pioneer avh4300 and have my ipod hooked up full time, and have a subwoofer as well. My two main concerns with this unit were the ability to search alphabetically (since I have close to 5k songs) and amp/sub support. I was sad find to out that the Rosen does not support a search function but instead you have to manually scroll through your list of music. Not only time consuming and difficult, but dangerous. Also, if you want to control or even have a subyou need an extra harness. Even with this harness, you still will not have control, settings, options, etc. For the sub. (no EQ or power level like my pioneer) These two things were deal breakers for me. Other than that, this unit is solid. Great fit, look, and finish. OEM color lighting. Great navigation. Quick, and user friendly UI. Steering wheel control support, etc. just thought I'd add an opinion and done details. I'm still playing with the idea of getting one, but I have a feeling those two issues would drive me crazy and I wouldn't enjoy it.

Price: you can get one for about 930-970..

No monthly fees to use the nav...I'm currently looking into cost vs retail pricing right now. I'm in the car electronics/ audio/ customization industry and have just picked up a couple Toyota dealers to do work for so I'm not really looking to make much on these, just to help out my fellow Taco owners who consistently get the short end of the stick when it comes to oem options...will keep you guys updated as things progress

I would be interested but would not spend anymore than $500 with those limited features. I eventually will want a sub and amp and if it requires an additional harness then that detracts from the value for me.
