I may try out super tech, quaker state is 1$ more which is a name brand SOPUS product but it also does not meet as many standards as the super tech does.

If you're running a standard 5-6k OCI, then you're spending too much time thinking about it. Bacon/used fryer grease would be sufficient. ;)

    OME and worth every penny.
Coconut oil will make the neighborhood smell sweet.

edit: btw, as far as i've ever been able to find out, Supertech is either Quacker State or Vulvolean. As long as your happy using either of those brands, it's decent oil.
Now that Mobil 1 seems to be at 23 bux here and they keep running the rebates, I'm going that route. This is from a guy that always ran Supertech but I was really just chasing the good deal. I don't put enough miles on the truck to worry about mileage, just change it once a year but the Sienna is/was a sludge design and I've heard Mobil 1 doesn't coke as easy in the PCV baffles. Maybe BS but it's still the cheapest right now.

Pennzoil Platinum full synthetic 5w-20. I buy the 5 qt jugs at Walmart when it's on sale. Probably change it more often than needed, but, it's one of the last maintenance items I still do. Time under the Tacoma is always restfulOil change.jpg

I'm really starting to believe that TW wouldn't exist without the "What oil is best" and the "What's the biggest size tire I can fit without a lift" threads, though lately the "Is this a good price for a 3rd Gen" seems to be giving both of them a run for their money.

Entire family has used Pennzoil and all of our cars have never had wear issues accosiated with oil.

When I had my 93 accord during automotive tech we took off the valve cover to learn how to reseal it (it was leaking anyway) I specifically remember my instructor saying the rockers and camshaft looked remarkable for their age and milage. He asked what oil I used and I said it's always had Pennzoil. He said "ah that's why it is in such good shape".

Price is barely more than others so with the family history along with the proof seen the Accord I'll keep running Pennzoil.
