I try to quit and stop for a while and then there will be an occasion or something and I use that as an excuse to start back up again. I actually used completing a 10 mile run as an excuse to have a celebratory cigar! Haha!

For many years I liked to smoke a big ol' maduro as I watched the runners go by in the NY City Marathon. :D

Thought I was the only one who even heard of Esteban Carreras. Chupa Cabra, great smoke!
I smoke a cigar every Fri & Sat night with a good "beverage"
Good cigars start at 7-8 bucks

I may smoke (not sure if I'm really smoking versus puffing) a good cigar a few times a year. With a nice Bourbon of course! Usually after a good bird hunting or fly fishing outing.

Been Montecristos for me so far this spring. Been on a kick with them for some reason lately. By which I mean I've had 3 since my birthday in March, lol.
I don't smoke them very often. I've got to be in the right mood, because a good cigar is an hour's time investment and a lot of the time I can't sit still for that long. But if I am in the right mood, I really enjoy sitting on my front steps with a glass of whiskey and a nice slow burner.

i just got into cigars last year, my dad has always been into them and i started having the occasional smoke with him. since i'm such a 'Nooob" at cigars, i play it safe and stick with mild stuff. i really like the Drew Estate Acids, and my dad bought me a few packs of Lex 12 Napa Wine filtered cigars for my birthday last year. those things are awesome. if you havent tried them, do eeet.

I agree, Chupa Cabras are great. I was smoking a 187 last night though. Not as good, but still a great smoke. Big fan of Tatuaje as well.

That's funny. Acids were my introduction into cigars, which is apparently pretty typical. Cigar smoking is great though. Nothing beats sitting in a dark room with friends, or around a desert camp fire, or out on someone's back porch at night with a good bottle of bourbon and a cigar. Took them up a few years ago and it's amazing the cool people I've met or the places I've been invited to that I wouldn't have been otherwise.
