depends on what they do to make that money.
I know a few people in real estate that only deal with estates so they get high commission etc. not making 800k but still at least 200k a year, they all lease because its a tax write off and having the flashy car helps appeal to the people they're selling homes for and to

I can see businesses doing the same thing for the same reasons. Perhaps that's why they adopt that strategy for personal use.

hell I work for the largest electrical company in Ontario and all of their work trucks are leased as well.
Tax write off, keep the trucks for a few years then get rid of them. Why bother keeping them when they start costing money for repairs.
I'm sure a publicly traded multi million dollar company has accountants that work out the cost of all this to make it financially work.
Even when I worked for smaller companies with just 4-8 guys still usually had leased trucks.

I'm not a tax guy but how does someone write-off a leased vehicle used for personal use? I can understand for work or business but not for anything else. Seems to me a personal lease is a rental agreement with lots of limitations.

I think the bad thing about some of us who financed is, if we just paid the money we spent on mods on payments. Wed be damn near debt free.

Houses are liabilities until you sell them. Took me a while to understand that.

I wouldn't pay cash on a car unless I was getting a great deal. My dealer didn't come down all that much and couldn't/wouldn't go down further with cash on my end. Happy with the truck though and satisfied with the deal I got.

I traded in my 2006 OR with 114k miles on it that I had for 4 years and got 12k for it so basically it cost me 104$ a month .Could of got more perhaps from private party but didn't feel right to sell my 06 with the rusted build up under my front window seal that drenched my carpet after a heavy rain ! Got a 2016 Sport used with 4800 miles on it for 30k and paid the difference in cash. Saved the 5-7 k depreciation off the bat. Not to mention buying a new gen I wanted a used one so I wouldn't be the guinea pig for the lemon factor that have sadly affected some. So far zero problems as others have complained about with 6900 k on it. If I decide to get a 17 or 18 etc , it's still worth what I paid for it without the mods I put into it. Some people finance because they don't have a choice but for myself I like not having payments and paying interest on anything. Happy guy here! Love my Taco Supreme!!

So if op paid cash did it take every dime he had? Bc I know as a homeowner with a 6 month old I keep a good amount of cash for anything that may come up.... I'm not talking my retirement I mean sock drawer cash. The money I could use at any time but choose not to do that it's there in case your ac goes out or have any big unexpected bill
